While the earlier development of diagnostic tools focused on changes in hardware due to technical applicability, the future of vehicles around the world will be characterised by the rapid development of digital components and more complex software. To meet the requirements of the new vehicle standards, LAUNCH  presents a new concept for the implementation of diagnostic software with the introduction of the X-431 EURO software packages. Instead of annual hardware changes and the need for the customer to regularly upgrade the product, LAUNCH aims to offer a software package that includes the diagnostic hardware of the X-431 EURO as a base, while allowing the customer to flexibly opt for or against a variety of diagnostic options by choosing the desired software licence options. With the release of the X-431 EURO Gold, Silver and Bronze packages, we are offering three software tiers. With these packages, the customer can decide for themselves, which diagnostic functions they require and how comprehensive the database should be.

The advantage of this is that the customer receives exactly the product they need for their daily workshop use. The incorporation of the new hardware alongside the purchase of the standalone software is our way of adapting to the increasingly rapid changes of vehicle functions and digital complexity. It reflects the new procedures of workshops around the world and aims to increase their effectiveness by bringing the functionality of the diagnostic tool closer to their processes without having to buy new products within short intervals. As part of the concept, the hardware itself has been developed as „the“ most advanced diagnostic tool to increase functionality.
